Mallorca with Ed

For this trip we will be based at Hotel Helios, just a 5 minutes drive from the airport outside Palma. The location is ideal, allowing us to reach some of the shorter, more scenic climbs and rolling roads. This side of the island has riding to suit all cycling abilities. This is not a training camp or a guided riding tour, it's just a chance to ride in Mallorca with Ed and meet and ride with new people or mates.

The Hotel

With 4.5/5 star Google reviews Helios is a fabulous place. There is an on-site spa, pool and restaurant. There's a great selection at breakfast and in the evening buffet, plus you can find some great coffee and frites in the day restaurant. We are 3 minute walk from the beach, 10 minutes from a great cafe and a short bus ride in to Palma. The old town is great for an afternoon stroll.

The Trip

Day 1
50km 600m

Short ride to one of the closest climbs, Puig de Randa. Perfect for days when time is limited, although we can always do more afterwards. It's an iconic climb with amazing panoramic views of the island.

Day 2
105km 1500m

Climbing through the Tramuntana mountains. A nice challenging day with 3 decent climbs to Sóller, Valldemossa and Deià. Iconic villages with cafe stops a plenty.

Day 3
90km 1100m

The 3 closest climbs to Palma and some decent sustained, undisrupted climbing. Taking in Sa Creu, Galilea and Es Grau. Some of our personal favourites over this side of the island.

Day 4
110km 1500m

Beautiful coastal roads and some climbs 312 riders will be familiar with. Topped off with our absolute favourite descent back in to town.

The first ride will be on the 30th Oct and the last ride on the 2nd Nov (4 days, 4 rides). You are welcome to book days either side of these dates if your schedule or flights suit. Day 1's ride will be an evening ride and Day 4 will be an early morning, for those that may have a late evening flight.

Flight recommendations

Arrivals : Please fly into Palma di Mallorca Airport BEFORE 11.00am on Sunday 12th October 2025, in order to join our scheduled transfer for our riders at circa 12pm. If you cannot find a flight that lands before 11am, we suggest flying in on the 11th October and saying in our suggested airport hotel overnight. Departures : Please book a return flight AFTER 9am from Palma Airport on Saturday 18th October to your chosen destination. Our scheduled transfer is based on the earliest flight time of all guests. But your flight should not be before 9am due to the transfer time to the airport (1 Hour)
