Fondo Plan (For Racing in High Mts with Sustained PWR) - 8wk


Originally built for cyclists looking to do 5-8hr rides/events with climbing, usually in the form of some intensity mix especially late on and throughout. The plan focuses on improving your aerobic power contribution (more aerobic/less anaerobic), fat oxidation and endurance. The plan is built to focus on some shorter harder efforts 4-8weeks out from the event and as you get closer the riding shifts to more threshold and subthreshold work, specific to what you'll experience on the event. The standalone longer rides on the weekend are the most important parts of this plan and include challenging kitchen sink style workouts that will prepare you for more intensity over longer durations than the Endurance Fondo Plan.
